
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR & Planning
- Design and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals
- Drive workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and talent pipeline development
- Lead org design and change management initiatives in a dynamic startup setup
Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
- Collaborate with leadership to build a strong hiring plan across tech, product, and support functions
- Improve employer branding through campaigns, social presence, and candidate experience
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes (sourcing to onboarding)
Performance & Culture
- Implement OKRs, performance management frameworks, and feedback culture
- Foster a high-performance, value-driven culture through engagement programs
- Conduct HR audits, employee surveys, and pulse checks regularly
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee payroll, attendance, and statutory compliance (ESI, PF, Shops & Establishments, etc.)
- Maintain and regularly update HRMS
- Develop and roll out policies, handbooks, and SOPs
Employee Experience & Development
- Plan and lead L&D programs tailored for a fast-scaling tech startup
- Drive initiatives around mental well-being, DEI, and leadership development
- Act as a coach and partner to team leads and founders
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in core HR functions, with at least 2 years in a tech startup
- Strong understanding of scaling HR processes in high-growth environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to balance strategy with execution
Preferred
- MBA in HR or relevant field
- Experience in setting up HR from scratch in an early-stage or Series A/B startup
