Manager - Human Resources

Position: HR Manager (Remote U.S. HR Operations)

Location: Remote (India-based candidates working U.S. hours)

Work Hours: U.S. Eastern Time (4 PM 12 AM IST)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager with a strong background in U.S. HR practices to join our team. This is a fully remote position supporting a U.S.-based organization, requiring expertise in U.S. employment laws, HR policies, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage HR functions in alignment with U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws.

- Handle employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, performance management, and benefits administration.

- Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.

- Partner with leadership to manage workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies.

- Ensure accurate HR records and compliance reporting.

- Manage HRIS and related systems for efficient data management.

- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, conflict resolution, and compliance issues.

Required Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role for a U.S.-based company (minimum 5 years preferred).

- In-depth knowledge of U.S. employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.

- Strong understanding of payroll, benefits, and compliance requirements for U.S. employees.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across time zones.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

- Availability to work during U.S. Eastern Time hours (4 PM 12 AM IST).

Preferred Qualifications:

- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or similar HR certification.

- Experience with HRIS systems and remote teams.
