About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Manager to lead HR operations at our Ambattur office. The HR Manager will be responsible for managing recruitment, payroll, employee engagement, statutory compliance, and organizational development initiatives, ensuring a motivated and compliant workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations:
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, induction, and exit formalities.
- Handle payroll processing, attendance, and leave management.
- Maintain HR records, employee database, and generate HR-related reports.
Compliance & Policies:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies aligned with company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements including PF, ESI, Gratuity, and Shops & Establishments Act.
- Conduct periodic HR audits to ensure compliance.
Employee Engagement & Development:
- Drive employee engagement activities and foster a positive work culture.
- Handle employee grievances and conflict resolution.
- Implement and manage the performance management system.
- Collaborate with leadership to design and execute learning and development programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4 to 8 years of HR management experience, preferably in a mid-sized organization.
- Strong knowledge of payroll, statutory compliance, and labor laws.
- Proficiency in HRMS tools and MS Office.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to balance strategic initiatives with hands-on HR operations.
