The Opportunity

Role: Manager - GCC Advisory Services (Remote working with travel to Client location as required)

This is an opportunity to lead transformational work that shapes how global organizations build their GCCs in India.

We're seeking an experienced Manager with 7 to 9 years of progressive experience to join our team. You'll work directly with U.S. Companies as they establish and scale their Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in India, helping them build sustainable organization policies, procedures and infrastructure from the ground up.

What Makes This Different: Unlike large consulting firms where Manager manage individual workstreams of a large engagement, here you'll own end-to-end workstreams, directly influence C-suite decisions, and see your recommendations implemented in real-time. You'll operate at the strategic level while remaining close enough to execution through your teams to ensure impact.

What You'll Do:


- Strategic Consulting; Engagement Management & Team Management

- Front-end all client conversations; provide advisory inputs on their challenges and serve as a trusted advisor to key client stakeholder

- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, develop detailed project plans, track milestones, lead team members and ensure on-time delivery

- Lead discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and executive workshops with key stakeholders

- Conduct comprehensive market research on regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and statutory obligations across Indian states

- Synthesize complex data into actionable insights and executive-ready recommendations

- Develop HR operating models that balance global standardization with local requirements

- Design compensation & benefits structures aligned with statutory requirements and market practices

- Define system requirements and functional specifications for GCC operations

- Lead HRMS evaluation and vendor selection processes (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, DarwinBox etc.)

- Work collaboratively with junior consultants and guide their development; share knowledge and consulting best practices with the broader team

- Contribute to firm-building activities and capability development

Client Travel:

- Travel to client locations across India (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, etc.) for needs assessment and stakeholder engagement

- Lead on-ground implementation support during critical project phases

Experience & Education Required:

- 7 to 9 years of progressive experience in one or more of the following:

- Consulting (Big 4, boutique consulting firms, or internal consulting)

- Strategy and change management in large, complex organizations

- Setting up Global Capability Centres or Global Business Services

- MBA in HR/Business Administration or Master's degree in relevant field

Core Competencies

- Ability to understand business context and translate into strategy

- Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving decision-making

- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making recommendations with limited information

- Strong understanding of Indian Outsourcing Guidelines, Labor Laws and GCC-specific HR considerations

- Advanced research skills with ability to identify credible sources and synthesize information quickly. Data analysis capabilities including Excel modelling, trend analysis, and metrics development

- Exceptional PowerPoint skills with ability to create executive-level, visually compelling presentations

- Consulting maturity including professional presence, credibility-building, and stakeholder management

- Project management capabilities with track record of delivering on time and on budget

- Ability to manage tight deadlines and competing priorities

Leadership & Ownership:

- Self-starter who takes initiative and drives work independently

- High ownership mentality with commitment to quality and client impact

- Ability to lead without formal authority
