Job Title: Senior Manager - Human Resources & Industrial Relations Location: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Reporting To: Head - HR & IR (Corporate) / Project Director Years of Experience: 10 -15 years Position Overview: The Senior Manager - HR & IR (Lucknow Operations) will be responsible for leading the entire HR, Admin, and Industrial Relations (IR) function for waste management operations in Lucknow. This role involves managing a large workforce of 3,000+ blue-collar employees, ensuring workforce availability, statutory compliance, union engagement, and smooth HR operations across the city. The role demands a hands-on leader with strong expertise in Admin, blue collar recruitment , labour law compliance, employee engagement, and city-level HR administration. Key Responsibilities: 1. HR & Workforce Management: - Lead end-to-end HR operations for 3,000+ blue-collar workers and supporting staff. - Drive manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and deployment for city-level operations. - Monitor attendance, workforce productivity, and HRMS records. - Handle employee engagement initiatives, welfare programs, and grievance redressal. 2. Industrial Relations (IR): - Manage union relations, collective bargaining, and wage settlements in line with company policies. - Ensure proactive grievance handling to maintain industrial harmony. - Liaise with labour commissioners, government authorities, and industry bodies to ensure smooth operations. - Anticipate and mitigate potential IR risks affecting business continuity. 3. Administration & Compliance: - Oversee administrative functions including site offices, housing, facilities, and statutory documentation. - Ensure 100% statutory compliance under PF, ESI, CLRA, Shops & Establishments Act, Factories Act, and state labour laws. - Prepare and present compliance reports, dashboards, and HR/IR updates to leadership. 4. Leadership & Governance: - Act as the city HR & IR head, providing strategic and operational support to project leadership. - Build and mentor HR & Admin teams in Lucknow for effective execution. - Provide regular MIS reports on manpower, attrition, absenteeism, compliance, and IR status to corporate HR.
