Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Design and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent across all functions (marketing, product development, operations, sales, etc.).
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job description development to offer negotiation.
- Develop and implement engaging onboarding programs to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the company culture and become productive quickly.
Culture & Employee Engagement:
- Champion and cultivate a positive, inclusive, and high-performance company culture that reflects our values.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Organise and oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures, ensuring fairness and compliance.
Performance Management & Development:
- Establish and manage performance management systems (goal setting, appraisals, feedback mechanisms) to drive individual and team performance.
- Identify training and development needs and implement programs that foster continuous learning and career growth for employees.
- Develop succession planning strategies for key roles.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent while ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Conduct market research and participate in salary surveys to ensure compensation structures are aligned with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
- 4-6 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Prior experience in a startup environment, particularly within the beauty, personal care, FMCG, or consumer goods industry, is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling HR functions from scratch.
- Strong understanding of all HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, performance management, employee relations, and HR compliance.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and diverse teams.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
