
Manager - Healthcare Consulting (Revenue Cycle Management):
A leading Tier-1 US Accounting & Advisory Firm is seeking an experienced Manager - Healthcare Consulting to join its growing Healthcare Advisory practice. This is a high-impact, client-facing leadership role focused on delivering strategic consulting solutions to hospitals, health systems, physician groups, government healthcare entities, accountable care organizations (ACOs), and other healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Project Management:
- Lead healthcare consulting engagements through all phases of the project lifecycle, including strategic planning, work planning, mobilization, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Manage multiple concurrent engagements while ensuring high-quality client service and deliverables.
Revenue Cycle Management (RCM):
- Advise healthcare organizations on end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management processes, including Patient Access, Charge Capture, Medical Coding, Billing, Claims Management, Denial Management, and Collections.
- Evaluate existing revenue cycle operations and identify opportunities to improve reimbursement, reduce claim denials, and optimize cash flow.
- Lead revenue cycle transformation initiatives, including workflow redesign, process optimization, technology implementation, and vendor performance improvement.
Finance, Analytics & Reporting:
- Apply financial analysis, performance metrics, and operational analytics to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze healthcare financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and review executive-level presentations, reports, business cases, and recommendations.
Business Development:
- Identify opportunities to expand consulting services within existing client accounts.
- Support business development activities, including proposal development, client presentations, and contract negotiations.
Team Leadership & Talent Development:
- Lead, coach, and mentor consultants and senior staff members.
- Provide guidance on project execution, client management, and professional development.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Healthcare Management Consulting, or Healthcare Financial Operations and Performance Improvement.
- Minimum 2+ years of leadership or people management experience.
- Strong end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) expertise (mandatory).
- Proven experience managing client-facing consulting engagements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent).
- Experience working with Hospitals and Health Systems, Academic Medical Centers, Physician Practices and Networks, Managed Care Organizations, Government Healthcare Agencies, and Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs).
- Knowledge of value-based care and value-based contracting models.
- Experience in operational improvement, performance transformation, and healthcare data analytics initiatives.
