
About the Opportunity:
A leading Tier 1 US Accounting & Advisory Firm is looking to hire an experienced Manager Healthcare Consulting to join its growing Healthcare Consulting practice.
This is a high-impact, client-facing consulting role focused on partnering with hospitals, health systems, physician practices, government healthcare entities, and accountable care organizations (ACOs) to improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
The successful candidate will lead multiple client engagements, manage consulting teams, and deliver strategic solutions that enhance healthcare operations and financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Engagement & Project Management:
- Lead client engagements from project initiation through planning, execution, and successful completion.
- Develop project plans, manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring proactive communication and strong stakeholder management.
- Manage multiple consulting engagements simultaneously while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and client stakeholders.
2. Revenue Cycle Management (RCM):
- Lead consulting engagements focused on end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management.
- Assess and optimize patient access, charge capture, coding, billing, claims management, denial management, and collections processes.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend process improvements to increase reimbursement and reduce revenue leakage.
- Drive RCM transformation initiatives, including workflow redesign, technology implementation, automation, and vendor optimization.
- Improve key performance metrics such as denial rates, cash collections, clean claim rates, and Days in Accounts Receivable (AR).
3. Financial Analysis & Healthcare Analytics:
- Perform financial analysis to evaluate operational and revenue performance.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and actionable insights for healthcare executives.
- Prepare client presentations, reports, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
- Utilize data analytics to support operational improvement initiatives and financial decision-making.
4. Business Development:
- Identify opportunities to expand consulting services within existing client accounts.
- Support business development activities including proposals, RFP responses, client presentations, and contract discussions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Stay current with healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging consulting opportunities.
5. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop consulting teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development support to team members.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture aligned with firm values and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Healthcare Consulting or healthcare financial and operational consulting.
- Minimum 2 years of team management or supervisory experience.
- Mandatory experience in end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
- Strong understanding of healthcare finance, revenue optimization, and operational analytics.
- Demonstrated experience managing client-facing consulting engagements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or equivalent).
