Head of Engineering for a Speciality Chemicals company | Site based out of Navi Mumbai

Industry: Specialty Chemicals MNC

Location: Navi Mumbai

- Bachelor's degree in engineering

- Lead and manage the engineering function for the chemical manufacturing facility, ensuring high standards of reliability, safety, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.

- The role will oversee project engineering, maintenance, reliability improvement, energy management, and engineering excellence to support sustainable plant operations and future expansion.

- Build and lead a high-performing engineering team with strong technical expertise.

- Oversee the design, planning, budgeting, and execution of capital projects

- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance plant uptime.

- Ensure all engineering activities meet statutory, regulatory, and environmental compliance requirements.

- Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and technology partners.

- Collaborate closely with operations, EHS, production, R&D, and corporate engineering teams.

Team size: 5-6 direct reports with a total team size of 45-50 people.

Reporting Manager: Site Head/ Site Manager
