Manager - Grants & Customer Financing (multilateral agencies) Organization: An agritech Responsibilities: 1. Research and Identification: Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant & finance opportunities from various sources, including government agencies, foundations, financial institutions, and private organizations. 2. Proposal Development: Lead the process of preparing grant & finance proposals, ensuring alignment with grant & finance guidelines, and presenting the organization's initiatives effectively. 3. Collaboration: Work closely with program managers and department heads to gather information and insights necessary for crafting compelling grant & finance proposals. 4. Budgeting: Collaborate with business development, product and service teams to create accurate and detailed budgets, covering all project-related expenses. 5. Networking: Build and maintain relationships with grant and finance providers, attend relevant workshops and networking events, and engage with stakeholders to enhance the organization's grant-seeking capabilities. 6. Monitoring and Reporting: Oversee the tracking and reporting of projects, ensuring that milestones are met, and required reports are submitted in a timely and accurate manner. 7. Liaising with grant agencies, and funding agencies to identify, apply and ensure us/our customers are able to get such funds. Requirements: 1. This role requires a combination of financial expertise, strategic thinking, leadership skills, project management skills and strong interpersonal abilities to successfully drive customer financing and grant initiatives. 2. Preferably an MBA candidate who has worked with DFIs or with NGOs and has raised such funding, it can be also someone who has worked to raise grant and debt funds Experience of developing proposals or working on RFPs/ EOIs of multilateral agencies like World Bank, UNDP, Asian Development Banks, foundations, funding agencies, etc.
