Position Objective:


As the Drone Business Development Manager, you will lead the growth and operational success of the drone spray business across South India. You will manage a team of 4-5 cluster/zonal in-charges and coordinate with key customers such as Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), agrochemical dealers, and progressive farmers. You'll be responsible for driving business development, contract finalization, and ensuring smooth execution of agricultural drone spray services through a mix of office-based planning and extensive field visits.


Key Responsibilities:


- Lead and manage the drone spray business development activities across assigned South Indian states.


- Build and maintain strong relationships with FPOs, agrochemical dealers, and progressive farmers for business growth.


- Supervise and coordinate a team of cluster/zonal heads to achieve operational and sales targets.


- Facilitate negotiations, procurement processes, and contract closures with customers.


- Plan and monitor drone spray operations to optimize resource use and customer satisfaction.


- Manage frequent field visits for site surveys, client engagement, and quality control.


- Collaborate with internal teams for smooth execution aligned with agricultural spray schedules.


- Drive market expansion by identifying new business opportunities in emerging agricultural areas.


- Provide regular reports on business performance and operations to senior management.


Work Experience Requirements:


- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in sales within the agrochemical or agricultural equipment sectors.


- Preferably experienced in crop spraying or related agricultural services.


- Demonstrated track record of working closely with farmers or agricultural industry clients.


- Proven ability to lead sales and business development efforts with strong results.

The drone-based spraying service is a new vertical started in 2022. Currently, the business has a presence in 4 states and has successfully completed spraying operations over approximately 100,000 acres.


Working Days:6 Days in a week. However, holidays on 1st and 3rd Saturday
