Job Description:
We are seeking a highly accomplished Chartered Accountant with strong General Ledger and Record-to-Report (R2R) experience from a multinational manufacturing environment.
The role requires experience working with international compliances, global finance teams, and complex manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end General Ledger accounting and Record-to-Report activities.
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes within defined timelines.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements in compliance with IFRS, Ind AS, and corporate accounting policies.
- Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Drive balance sheet substantiation and resolution of aged reconciling items.
- Coordinate with global controllership, regional finance teams, auditors, and business stakeholders.
- Support statutory audits, internal audits, and SOX/internal control requirements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance policies.
- Analyze financial results, identify risks, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, standardization, and automation projects.
- Mentor and develop accounting team members.
Required Skills & Experience:
Mandatory:
- Qualified CA with 6+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing organization with multinational operations.
- Strong General Ledger and financial accounting expertise.
- Exposure to global entities and international stakeholder management.
- Experience handling month-end close and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
- Advanced understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany accounting.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP.
Preferred:
- Shared Services / Global Capability Center (GCC) exposure.
- Team handling experience.
- Experience supporting multiple geographies (EMEA, APAC, Americas).
