A Gen AI/Machine Learning Manager is expected to operate as a full-time consultant, which involves working on projects for external clients while also contributing to internal initiatives such as developing tools, frameworks, and knowledge-sharing resources, and leading junior colleagues across both client and internal projects.

- Projects vary in scope, client, technology stack, and complexity, offering our colleagues a dynamic environment with exposure to diverse aspects of AI, ML, and Generative AI applications.

- The candidate is also expected to build expertise by collaborating within a highly skilled team and participating in tailored training programs. This approach empowers every consultant to take ownership of their professional development and stay at the forefront of emerging AI technologies.

- Candidates need to relocate to Bangalore (if not already) and attend office regularly.

Knowledge and Understanding Required (Competencies) :

- Academic Background - Our solutions require strong analytical foundations. We look for candidates with degrees in disciplines grounded in quantitative analysis, statistics, data science, computer science, or related fields with significant AI/ML content.

- Experience - We seek candidates with at least 8 years of relevant experience in both leading teams and applying academic knowledge in practical settings,such as research projects or roles in AI, ML, or data-driven environments. Experience in working with banking/financial services clients in delivering AI/ML solutions is preferred.

- Coding Expertise - Building AI/ML solutions requires proficiency in programming. We value experience in Python (preferred for ML and Gen AI), and familiarity with R, SQL, or other data manipulation languages. Knowledge of ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and Gen AI tools (Hugging Face, LangChain) is highly desirable.

- Foundational AI/ML Knowledge - Understanding of machine learning concepts (training, inference, overfitting, evaluation metrics), deep learning fundamentals (neural networks, transformers, embeddings), and familiarity with modern architectures (GPT, Llama, Diffusion Models, RAG pipelines).

- Knowledge of AI Governance & Ethics - Awareness of responsible AI principles, data privacy regulations, and compliance frameworks impacting AI/ML solutions.

- Passion for Impact - A strong interest in how AI and Generative AI solutions drive business transformation, coupled with a mindset for continuous improvement and innovation.
