Fund OPS Manager- Gift City We are currently hiring for a leading VC in Gandhi Nagar. The fund is currently managing over 850Crs across four funds, and managing 23 investments. About the position: We are seeking a proactive, organized and experienced fund operations executive with excellent organization and management skills to support our fund operations division. This role will act as main PoC for the operations and compliance for the fund setup in GIFT City. The individual will be providing executive and logistical support on the operating activities and special projects throughout the organization. We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on executive who takes initiative and flourishes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. What You'll Do: - Assistance in all aspects of finance, including tax, bookkeeping, reporting and banking reconciliations - Support on all elements of the fund management, including fund controlling, quarterly investor reports, capital calls, distributions as well as ad-hoc analyses - Lead compliance requirements for GIFT City and IFSCA, along with other major regulatory bodies - Coordination between tax advisors and fund administration - Assistance in onboarding of investors and AML checks - Working with the investor relations team on investor communication and requests and ensuring a high level of service to all stakeholders What You'll Need: - Qualified CA professional under ICAI - 3 years prior experience in a finance and/or operations role, fund services. Preference for individuals with experience of AIFs, and AIF financial operations. - Experience of fund structures - Deep sense for processes and advanced Excel skills - Fluent in English and Hindi - Experience working with internal and external stakeholders - You are curious about new things and love to work in small, high-energy, high conviction, cross-functional work environments Education Qualification prerequisites under GIFT regulation: Professional qualification or PG or PG diploma of minimum 1 year in finance, law, accountancy, business management, commerce, economics, capital market or banking, insurance or actuarial science from a university or an institution recognized by the Central Government or any State Government or a foreign university or institution or association, Or a CFA or a FRM from Global Association of Risk Professionals or any other relevant educational qualifications as may be specified by the IFSCA; Or has a work experience of at least 15 years in the activities related to fund management, including portfolio management, investment advisory or similar activities, the minimum educational qualification required for such person shall be a graduate degree in any field. Work experience prerequisites under GIFT regulation: - An experience of at least 5 years in related activities in the securities market or financial products including in a portfolio manager, fund manager, investment advisor, broker dealer, investment banker, wealth manager, research analyst, credit rating agency, market infrastructure institution, financial sector regulator - Or consultancy experience in areas related to fund management, such as deal due diligence, transaction advisory or similar activities; Consultancy experience in areas related to fund management, such as deal due diligence, transaction advisory, etc. shall be considered for a maximum period of 2 years and experience in other areas as mentioned above shall be required for at least 3 years - Or possesses a professional qualification and has experience in compliance or risk management in a listed company or an entity regulated by a financial sector regulator the experience required will be minimum of 3 years. - Professional qualifications include membership in ICAI, ICSI, ICMAI, or an equivalent foreign institution. the Professional qualification includes an LLB from a recognized Indian or foreign.
