Job Title: Manager - Fund Operations / Investor Services
Role Overview
The Manager for Fund Operations will support the execution of investor servicing initiatives for the North American region, with future expansion expected. The Manager will develop strong expertise in fund processes, procedures, and organizational structure. This role is responsible for overseeing investor trade processing, reviewing investor account reporting, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring corrections are made promptly. The Manager will interact with external parties such as transfer agents and other service providers, and coordinate internally across teams to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support investor servicing initiatives and help manage strategic projects aimed at improving client satisfaction.
- Ensure timely delivery of team KPIs at both fund and business levels.
- Coordinate with multiple internal teams to ensure consistent KPI delivery and strong communication on operational matters.
- Assist in implementing standardized trade processing procedures across funds, ensuring consistent approach where possible.
- Conduct daily reviews and checks of standard reporting, including trade reviews, account oversight, and outputs from fund events.
- Reconcile data between distribution partners and fund transfer agents, and follow up on discrepancies.
- Help build and maintain historical reporting for due diligence requests and investor queries.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5 -8 years of experience in investor servicing, trade processing, client service, fund operations, or accounting.
- Experience with US funds, Canadian funds, or other alternative products.
- Strong understanding of trade processing, AML/KYC requirements, and operational controls.
- Experience working with third-party service providers such as transfer agents, administrators, custodians, or auditors.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative team player.
- CPA / CA / CFA / CAIA (or progress towards) is a plus.
- Business Process Management (BPM) qualification is a plus.
