Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accounting professional to manage end-to-end fund accounting activities, including NAV calculations, financial reporting, and investor servicing. The role involves working closely with fund managers, auditors, and clients to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency across Private Equity and Hedge Fund structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Fund Accounting & NAV:

- Prepare and review Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations on a monthly/quarterly basis

- Perform portfolio valuation for Private Equity and Hedge Fund investments

- Process capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations

- Maintain general ledger and fund books of accounts

Financial Reporting:

- Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS / US GAAP

- Manage quarter-end and year-end closing activities

- Support audit processes and address auditor queries

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and client reporting requirements

Investor & Client Servicing:

- Prepare and manage investor reporting packages and capital account statements

- Liaise with fund managers, custodians, and third-party administrators

- Respond to client queries related to fund performance and transactions

Controls & Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures

- Support regulatory filings and compliance requirements

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Qualified CA (Chartered Accountant)

- Relevant experience in Fund Accounting, Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Financial Services

- Hands-on exposure to Private Equity, Hedge Funds, or Alternative Investments

- Strong understanding of NAV, capital accounting, and partnership accounting

- Familiarity with fund accounting platforms such as Investran, Geneva, Yardi, or eFront

- Solid knowledge of financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting standards

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
