Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to manage fund accounting operations for investment banking clients. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in NAV calculation, fund accounting, and alternative investments, with experience in Hedge Funds and/or Private Equity preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end fund accounting and NAV calculation activities.

- Review and validate NAV, fund financials, reconciliations, and investor reporting.

- Oversee accounting for Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and other alternative investment funds.

- Manage daily/monthly/quarterly fund accounting and reporting processes.

- Review complex transactions including capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, redemptions, and management/performance fees.

- Ensure accurate and timely completion of cash, position, and portfolio reconciliations.

- Manage client queries and coordinate with onshore stakeholders, auditors, and internal teams.

- Identify process gaps and drive process improvements and automation.

- Lead and mentor the fund accounting team and ensure adherence to quality and control standards.

- Monitor operational risks and ensure compliance with established procedures and SLAs.

Must-Have Skills:

- 7+ years of experience in Fund Accounting - Alternative Investment Operations.

- Strong hands-on experience in NAV calculation and review.

- Experience in Hedge Funds and/or Private Equity preferred.

- Good understanding of fund structures, investment accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

- Experience managing teams and client/stakeholder relationships.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
