Manager - Fixed Income Trade Support/Derivative/Trade Confirmation/Reconciliation

Shift: 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM IST.

Experience: 3-5 years (Immediate to 30 days NP).

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional for a Trade Support Manager role, with a strong background in financial services and derivatives operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate processing and reconciliation of complex financial products, as well as managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

- Trade & Position Reconciliation: Reconcile traders' risk products and positions with the firm's books and records, investigating and resolving any breaks or discrepancies.

- Reconciliation & Exception Handling: Perform broker reconciliations and resolve exceptions by liaising with Sales, Traders, or Brokers.

- Trade Management: Execute trade compression activities for capital optimization and manage industry compression processes (LCH, Trioptima, CME, coupon blends, internal transfers).

- Lifecycle Event Monitoring: Monitor and process the lifecycle events of structured notes, including rate fixings, coupon payments, and final redemptions.

- Cash Flow & Error Management: Investigate and resolve realized cash flow breaks and monitor system error queues to ensure smooth trade flow.

- Reporting: Produce and distribute exception reports that require action from various teams.

- Trade Processing: Perform trade allocations, rate resets, rate fixings, notices, and amendments.

- System Integrity: Reconcile upstream and downstream systems to ensure complete and accurate trade processing.

- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with regional OTC Middle Office Teams, Business Units, IT, and other support functions to ensure effective controls and timely issue resolution.

Skills

Required Skills:

- Trade Support: Strong trade support and derivatives operations background.

- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with various stakeholders.

- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to investigate and resolve complex breaks and exceptions.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with financial reconciliation software.

- Knowledge of automated trading systems.

- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements.

Education & Experience

Education: A bachelor's and master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial services with a strong focus on trade support and derivatives operation
