About the Role:

One of the Big 4 professional services firms is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager Financial Services Research professional to join its global research and benchmarking team. This role involves leading strategic research initiatives, managing stakeholder relationships, and delivering data-driven insights to support consulting and advisory engagements across the Banking, Insurance, and Capital Markets domains.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of sectoral expertise, analytical rigor, and leadership acumen, with a passion for transforming data into strategic intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end financial services research and benchmarking projects for global consulting teams.

- Partner with senior stakeholders and advisory professionals to scope, define, and deliver business-critical insights.

- Drive thought leadership initiatives by identifying emerging industry trends, risks, and growth opportunities.

- Develop client-ready deliverables including sectoral reports, market scans, and presentations using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

- Guide and mentor teams of Consultants and Analysts, ensuring high-quality outputs, efficiency, and continuous learning.

- Contribute to sales enablement and business development efforts by delivering deep-dive sectoral and company-level intelligence.

- Maintain strong collaboration across cross-functional global teams to ensure timely delivery and operational excellence.

Key Requirements:

- MBA / Postgraduate degree

- 13 to 15+ years of experience in research, strategy, or consulting, with significant focus on the Financial Services (FS) / BFSI sector.

- Strong command over quantitative and qualitative research, competitive benchmarking, and strategic analysis.

- Hands-on expertise with tools such as Power BI, Refinitiv, Capital IQ, Factiva, and other financial databases.

- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.

- Demonstrated experience in team leadership, project management, and client engagement across global environments.
