Position Description

Purpose of the Position:

- Support Spring-Board initiatives to build up optimized EFS team in India.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Shared Service Center to prepare AP, AR and GL activities including payment, billing, intercompany transactions, journal entries and fixed assets.

- Lead month-end closing activities, reports, reconciliations, and Blackline tasks.

- Responsible for pre & post month-end close activities including management reporting and ad-hoc queries.

- Interact with regional banks and vendors to manage cash status, payment issues and follow-ups.

- Support tax operations including regular tax filing, reporting and refunds.

- Support holding company accounting such as investments and dividends.

- Work with third-party accounting teams to review financial data, entries and control book accuracy.

- Prepare and support internal and external reporting, inquiries, SOX audit and statutory audit.

- Support financial forecasting and budgeting processes.

- Provide analysis to finance and business leaders on spending versus forecast/budget.

- Support S/4 HANA upgrade, implementation and testing.

- Identify opportunities to implement digitalization or process improvements.

Education & Experience:

- MBA Finance / CA Inter / Equivalent (7 to 9 years), CA (5 to 6 years) with relevant accounting and closing experience.

- Excellent knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, including US GAAP.

- Expert in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables), MS Word and PowerPoint.

- SAP S/4 HANA experience is mandatory.

- Power BI experience is a plus.

- Shared Services, Transition and Project Management experience is desirable.
