Financial Reporting Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Accounts Preparation:
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Manage and oversee Inventory Valuation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee Fixed Asset Account Preparation and reconciliation, including capitalization, depreciation, and impairment.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and relevant disclosures.
Treasury and Liquidity Management:
- Manage daily cash flow, liquidity planning, and forecasting to optimize working capital.
- Oversee foreign exchange exposure, including hedging strategies and accounting for Forward Exchange Contracts.
- Manage banking relationships and optimize banking facilities.
- Handle various banking compliances, including exposure in dealing with IDPMS/EDPMS cases and other regulatory requirements.
Internal Control System (ICS):
- Design, implement, and monitor the effectiveness of the Internal Control System (ICS) / Internal Financial Controls (IFC).
- Identify control gaps and weaknesses, and recommend remediation actions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Audit Management & Compliance:
- Coordinate and support various audits (statutory, internal, tax audits), ensuring smooth execution and timely resolution of queries.
- Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (business units, operations, legal, IT) and external parties (auditors, banks, consultants).
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and build lasting relationships.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 7 - 8 years of post-qualification experience in Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Internal Control functions.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, with expertise in IFRS/Ind-AS and financial reporting aptitude.
- Demonstrable experience in Internal Control System (ICS), IFC, and Treasury management, including Forward Exchange Contracts.
- Proven experience in handling various audits and practical exposure in dealing with IDPMS/EDPMS cases etc.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability in stakeholder management.
