Role Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Manager Financial Reporting & Controllership to oversee multi-entity finance operations across India, the US, and the Philippines. This role supports the finance controllership operations of a global BPO / shared services organization, ensuring accuracy in books of accounts, timely reporting, audit readiness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The position also drives process improvements, automation, and system efficiency. An excellent opportunity for a Chartered Accountant aspiring to move into a Finance Controller / Global Controllership role within a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations:

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AR, AP, reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions.

- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closures.

- Prepare MIS reports, P&L statements, balance sheet schedules, and variance analyses for management review.

- Support group-level consolidation and reporting across multiple entities.

- Ensure integrity of accounting data and adherence to internal controls.

Compliance & Taxation:

- Ensure TDS, GST, and other statutory filings are completed accurately and on time.

- Support India GAAP compliance while aligning with US GAAP / global standards.

- Assist in direct and indirect tax compliance, transfer pricing documentation, and RBI / FEMA-related matters.

- Coordinate with statutory auditors, consultants, and external agencies for audits and ROC filings.

Audit, Controls & Process Improvement:

- Support statutory, internal, and tax audits, ensuring timely resolution of queries.

- Strengthen internal financial controls and documentation across entities.

- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

ERP, Systems & Automation:

- Serve as a key user for NetSuite ERP, ensuring optimal system utilization.

- Collaborate with IT and vendors on ERP upgrades, integrations, and automation initiatives.

Business Partnership:

- Partner with business teams for budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.

- Provide financial insights to leadership for decision-making.

- Support treasury operations, cash flow planning, and fund allocation analysis.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of relevant experience (preferred).

- CA Inter with 8+ years of relevant experience may also be considered.

Experience:

- Strong experience in accounting, reporting, or controllership, preferably in a BPO / shared services / SaaS / ITES setup.

- Exposure to multi-entity, cross-border finance operations.

- Solid understanding of India and US GAAP, consolidation, and compliance requirements.

- Prior experience managing audits and working with external stakeholders.

- Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP or similar systems is preferred.
