Finance Manager

Role Overview:

Lead all accounting, financial control and financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities for the centre. You will deliver accurate, timely financial reports and forecasts, and provide insight that helps the executive team make decisions. You will work closely with the parent group's finance team to build efficient financial processes and manage key interdependencies with the parent group.

Reporting: Senior Manager, Finance

Team: 5 direct reports (Accounting Lead, FP&A Lead, 3 Finance Executives)

Budget: $15M cost responsibility

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting:

- Complete an accurate monthly financial close for all legal entities

- Work with the joint venture and the parent group finance teams to ensure an accurate close

- Make sure all transactions are booked in line with financial policy and accounting standards

- Manage end-to-end onboarding of new customers

Controlling:

- Monitor and report business KPIs, highlighting risks and opportunities

- Ensure timely collection of receivables, minimise credit exposure and resolve issues

- Make sure orders are processed, and supplier payments made, on time and accurately

- Keep financial policies (delegation of authority, credit limits) current with business needs and low in risk

FP&A:

- Prepare the annual budget and forecasts with the senior leadership team

- Analyse actual performance against budget and forecast, deliver actionable insights and work with stakeholders to drive action

- Prepare ad hoc analysis on business performance

Financial Reporting:

- Prepare monthly financial reports and KPIs, working with stakeholders on format and content

- Prepare board and group reports on time and accurately

- Report financial performance to stakeholders, highlighting risks and opportunities

- Work with external stakeholders on required reporting

Other:

- Provide financial accounting and control input on projects and decisions

- Drive continuous process improvement and control enhancements

- Ensure company secretarial matters are completed on time

- Lead, develop and engage the finance team

Requirements:

- CA or equivalent professional qualification; Master's preferred

- 10 - 15 years of finance experience, including managing teams

- Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting standards

- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning and analysis

- Proven experience managing end-to-end accounting processes (Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay), financial policy, process improvement and control enhancement

- Working knowledge of an ERP such as SAP

- Understanding of international trade and corporate governance

- Strong understanding of financial controls and how accounting and business processes connect

- Excellent verbal and written communication; able to explain complex analysis clearly

- Strong stakeholder management across finance and other functions

- Able to manage multiple projects and prioritise well

- Comfortable with ambiguity and a multi-country, fast-moving environment

- Skilled in managing and developing a team
