Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis - Startup

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Manager FP&A to join our fast-growing startup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, business analysis, and strategic decision support. This is a highly visible role that will work closely with the Founders, CFO, and business leaders to shape the companys growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning process.

- Prepare and present monthly management reports, financial dashboards, and variance analyses.

- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations) to provide insights on revenue, costs, and profitability.

- Build and maintain robust financial models to support business decisions and investor discussions.

- Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of strategic initiatives.

- Track key business KPIs and develop frameworks for data-driven decision-making.

- Support fundraising and investor reporting by preparing financial summaries, decks, and due diligence materials.

- Implement process improvements and automation to improve financial accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institute.

- 5-8 years of experience in FP&A, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.

- Strong grasp of financial modeling, business metrics, and scenario analysis.

- Excellent proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and financial tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior leadership.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment with minimal supervision.
