Job Description: FP&A Manager

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 35 years

Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution or CA Inter

Industry Preference: SaaS


Key Responsibilities:


- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and multi-year financial planning tailored to the software-as-a-service (SaaS) operating model.

- Build, enhance, and maintain dynamic financial models that capture customer acquisition, retention patterns, upsell rates, cohort analysis, and unit economics.

- Perform detailed variance analysis (Actuals vs Budget/Forecast) to identify trends, pinpoint cost or revenue anomalies, and communicate key business drivers to leadership.

- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to drive financial alignment and support strategic decision-making.

- Design and deliver intuitive, SaaS-focused KPI dashboards covering metrics such as CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), LTV (Lifetime Value), NRR (Net Revenue Retention), ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue), churn, activation, and payback period.

- Support pricing strategy development, investment cases, and scenario planning to guide go-to-market and customer expansion decisions.

- Prepare clear, investor-ready presentations and board materials articulating the financial story, SaaS-specific growth levers, and trajectory.

- Monitor and drive improvements in SaaS metrics, including retention, conversion funnel optimization, and customer engagement analysis.

Key Skills & Requirements:


- 35 years of progressive FP&A experience, with at least 2 years in a SaaS, or B2B subscription business.

- Advanced financial modeling skills with a strong grasp of SaaS metrics and analytics (CAC, LTV, ARR, NRR, logo/GRR churn, COGS allocation, cohort analysis, etc.).

- Expert-level proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; hands-on experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent).

- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with a knack for distilling complex financial concepts into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong business partnership and stakeholder management skills, especially with non-finance teams (Sales, Product, Customer Success, Marketing).
