Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager - FP&A to join our dynamic finance team at our Pune office. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function, providing critical insights to support strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams, to develop and maintain financial models, budgets, forecasts, and performance reports. Your work will directly impact the company's ability to achieve its financial goals, optimize resource allocation, and drive sustainable growth within the SaaS market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow, enabling informed business decisions by senior management.

- Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and providing insightful variance analysis for department heads.

- Analyze monthly financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency for the executive team.

- Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to senior management and the board of directors, communicating key performance indicators and strategic insights to stakeholders.

- Partner with business unit leaders to develop and evaluate investment opportunities, providing financial analysis and recommendations to optimize resource allocation and maximize ROI.

- Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes and systems, streamlining workflows and enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain complex financial models, perform scenario analysis, and provide data-driven insights.

- Proven experience in developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, with a strong understanding of financial accounting principles.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

- 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a SaaS environment.
