Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis/IFRS

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Interpret and analyze large contract data across capabilities to provide strategic recommendations.
- Prepare and review financial reports related to contract performance, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities specific to contract accounting.
- Support audits of contract-related financials and ensure accurate tracking of financials.
Process Improvement & Transformation:
- Drive process efficiency, automation, and adoption of advanced analytics/generative AI tools.
- Identify risks, recommend improvements to control environments, and ensure strong governance.
- Contribute to the firms ongoing Finance Transformation (EMpowered) initiatives.
Stakeholder & Team Leadership:
- Manage stakeholder relationships across geographies, providing real-time financial insights.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, setting clear goals, conducting appraisals, and fostering continuous learning.
- Conduct training sessions to strengthen analytical and financial acumen within the team.
Strategic Insights & Decision Support:
- Evaluate open receivables, bad debts, and cash flow metrics to provide liquidity insights.
- Support leadership with data-driven recommendations to align financial objectives with business goals.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Education:
- Graduation (3 years) with minimum 12 years of relevant experience
- B.Tech / B.E. with minimum 11 years of relevant experience
- Masters (MBA Finance / M.Com / equivalent) with minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Preference for candidates pursuing or holding accounting qualifications (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA).
Experience:
- Strong background in accounting/finance within professional services or operational finance roles.
- Expertise in applicable accounting standards such as IFRS 15 & IAS 37.
- Proven experience in control assessment, risk identification, and process improvement.
- Hands-on experience in financial systems, reporting, and advanced MS Excel.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau) is preferred.
