Role: FP&A Manager (7+ Yrs)

Job Location - Bangalore

Summary of Responsibilities

This position shall be part of the finance operations and cross functional programs/business launches and reporting function of the company.

The candidate will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, strategic planning, and decision support across the e-commerce business. This position is responsible for leading company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis while partnering closely with leadership teams across Commercial, Supply Chain and other functions. Candidate needs to be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, is detail oriented and will possess the ability to work well with cross-functional teams and in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate brings deep analytical expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate data-driven insights into strategic actions that enhance profitability, scalability, and customer value.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Planning & Forecasting

- Lead the company's annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial models.

- Develop and refine driver-based financial models to forecast revenue, gross margin, and P&L scenarios across business verticals.

- Support strategic initiatives such as new category launches, pricing optimization, and customer retention programs with robust financial modeling.

2. Business Partnering & Strategic Advisory

- Serve as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership and category heads.

- Provide actionable insights on unit economics to drive profitability.

- Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory turnover, fulfillment costs, and working capital efficiency.

- Support business reviews and strategy discussions with clear, data-backed narratives.

3. Performance Management & Reporting

- Deliver high-quality management reports and dashboards highlighting key business KPIs (e.g., revenue growth, contribution margin, conversion rates etc.).

- Drive monthly and quarterly business performance reviews with detailed variance analyses against budget and forecasts.

- Consolidate results across multiple business units for CFO and Board reporting.

4. Process Excellence & Automation

- Lead automation of FP&A processes, dashboards, and reporting through tools like Power BI, external consultants etc.

- Champion best practices in forecasting, scenario planning, and financial governance.

- Continuously improve data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in reporting cycles.

5. Leadership & Team Development

- Manage and mentor team members; foster a high-performance, analytical culture.

- Build analytical capability across the finance team through training, tools, and process improvements.

- Act as a bridge between finance and other business teams, ensuring clarity, transparency, and collaboration.

Basic Qualification, Experience and Technical skills:

- Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), or CPA preferred.

- 6-8 years' experience in FP&A, business finance, or corporate strategy, preferably in e-commerce, or retail

- Proven track record of managing multi-category P&Ls and cross-functional partnerships in a high-growth environment.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling

- Strong experience with BI and data visualization tools
