Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our Controllership practice in Bangalore or Gurgaon. In this leadership capacity, you will oversee complex financial reporting frameworks, ensure rigorous compliance with global accounting standards, and act as a strategic advisor to our high-profile clients. You will lead high-performing teams to navigate intricate regulatory landscapes, driving financial integrity and operational excellence. By bridging the gap between technical accounting and business strategy, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the financial governance and reporting maturity of our clients, directly influencing their long-term fiscal health and market credibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end financial reporting engagements for diverse clients, ensuring absolute accuracy and adherence to IFRS, US GAAP, or Ind-AS standards.
- Manage complex regulatory reporting requirements, liaising with statutory bodies to mitigate risk and ensure seamless compliance across jurisdictions.
- Direct the financial controllership function by implementing robust internal controls that safeguard assets and optimize financial processes.
- Provide deep-dive financial analysis and insights to senior stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making and improved business performance.
- Mentor and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth within the firm.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrate mastery in financial controllership and technical accounting, with a proven track record of managing large-scale reporting projects within a Big 4 environment.
- Exhibit exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of navigating complex client relationships and communicating technical financial concepts to non-finance leadership.
- Possess a strong analytical mindset, with the ability to identify systemic financial risks and design scalable solutions for regulatory compliance.
- Hold a professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or ACCA, complemented by 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in financial management.
- Thrive in a hybrid work environment, demonstrating the agility to lead remote teams while maintaining high standards of output and collaboration across Bangalore and Gurgaon offices.
