Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Lead and perform complex financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare comprehensive financial performance reports for senior executives.
- Interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations to support decision-making.
Project Coordination & Documentation:
- Coordinate multiple financial analysis projects, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Maintain thorough documentation for analysis activities, methodologies, and outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvements in analytical processes and data integrity.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Manage and mentor a group or section of financial analysts.
- Assign tasks, review deliverables, and guide analysts on best practices.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations for junior team members.
Stakeholder & External Partner Management:
- Serve as the main financial point of contact for external firms, consultants, and auditors.
- Coordinate financial reviews, respond to inquiries, and ensure alignment with external stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations to internal and external audiences.
Strategic Planning & Support:
- Support senior finance leadership in strategic planning, budgeting cycles, and corporate initiatives.
- Conduct scenario analysis, risk assessments, and long-term financial modeling.
- Support business units with insights that improve financial performance and operational effectiveness.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Expertise in financial reporting tools and advanced Excel skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to lead and mentor financial analysis teams
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work with cross-functional departments
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Masters degree preferred)
- 8+ years of significant financial analysis experience
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in corporate finance, FP&A, or financial consulting
- Familiarity with ERP systems, financial planning tools, and BI platforms
- Advanced certifications (CFA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage
