Manager - Finance - Venture Capital

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee fund-level financial operations, compliance, reporting, and strategic finance support.

The role requires strong fund accounting expertise, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with investment teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day fund accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

- Oversee capital calls, distributions, LP reporting, and expense management.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.

- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, SEBI/AIF regulations, and statutory requirements.

- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, fund administrators, and banking partners.

- Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning.

- Partner with investment teams for deal-related financial analysis and reporting.
- Strengthen financial controls, SOPs, and improve operational efficiency.

- Support portfolio companies with finance setup and compliance frameworks where required.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or Commerce; CA / MBA (Finance) preferred.

- 5+ years of experience in finance management, fund accounting, VC/PE, or investment management.

- Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory compliance.

- Experience managing audits and statutory filings independently.

- Proficiency in financial tools, accounting software, and advanced Excel.

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, lean team environment.
