About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Manager - Finance Transformation & SAP S/4HANA to drive the evolution of our global finance technology ecosystem. This role combines finance process expertise, enterprise systems knowledge, and strategic technology thinking to enhance financial operations and enable scalable, insight-driven business processes.

The successful candidate will collaborate with global Finance, IT, HR, and external implementation partners to advance the finance systems roadmap, with a particular focus on SAP S/4HANA migration from SAP ECC, including FI/CO and Professional Services (PS) capabilities.

The role offers an opportunity to contribute to global finance transformation initiatives, strengthen financial controls, streamline processes, and leverage automation and analytics to improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Global Finance Systems Strategy:

- Translate business requirements into technology solutions and process improvements.

- Support the development and execution of the global finance systems roadmap.

- Act as a key business partner for finance systems, including SAP S/4HANA and integrated enterprise applications.

- Collaborate with Finance, IT, HR, and external vendors to deliver scalable, business-focused solutions.

2. SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Migration:

- Support and coordinate the migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, with a focus on FI/CO and Professional Services (PS).

- Drive system enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality in collaboration with global teams.

- Work closely with technical teams and implementation partners to ensure a stable, scalable, and well-integrated SAP environment.

- Align system capabilities with business requirements and enterprise best practices.

3. Finance Process Excellence:

- Partner with FP&A, Controllership, Project Finance, and other finance stakeholders to translate business needs into effective system solutions.

- Improve processes related to forecasting, revenue recognition, month-end close, project financials, and financial reporting.

- Promote process standardization, automation, and best practices across global finance operations.

- Strengthen financial data quality, governance, compliance, and internal controls.

4. Enterprise Systems Integration & Digital Transformation:

- Coordinate integrations between SAP S/4HANA and connected systems, including CRM, HR, reporting, analytics, and workflow platforms.

- Identify opportunities to automate processes, reduce manual effort, and improve financial visibility.

- Support the adoption of emerging technologies, digital capabilities, and analytics to enhance finance operations.

5. Global Stakeholder Management & Change Enablement:

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across geographies to ensure alignment and shared accountability.

- Translate complex technology concepts into clear business recommendations.

- Support change management, user adoption, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Coordinate activities across global teams, ensuring effective communication and timely execution.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- 8 - 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, financial operations, finance systems, or finance transformation.

- Proven experience contributing to or playing a key role in an SAP S/4HANA implementation, preferably involving migration from SAP ECC.

- Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO and Professional Services (PS) capabilities.

- Sound understanding of core finance processes, accounting principles, financial controls, and compliance requirements.

- Experience working on enterprise systems implementations, integrations, and cross-functional technology projects.

- Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels in a global, matrixed environment.

- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working with India-based or global shared services environments is an advantage.

- Willingness to travel as required.

- Fluency in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
