PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

- The Finance Manager will lead the plant's end-to-end finance and accounts operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and strategic financial insights that support business growth.


- The role requires 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance, with proven expertise in costing, financial reporting, variance analysis, and statutory audits

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead all Finance & Accounts operations at the plant, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting

- Prepare and manage annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and rolling plans in coordination with internal teams.

- Generate and publish monthly MIS reports through the BPC system (or equivalent), ensuring timely submission and accuracy.

- Manage cash flow and working capital effectively to support operational and strategic objectives.

- Respond promptly to corporate office queries with relevant financial data and analytical commentary.

- Ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory regulations, and applicable accounting standards.

- Drive costing, variance analysis, and profitability assessments to support operational decisions.

- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of audit observations.

- Lead ERP system enhancements to improve data accuracy, automation, and reporting efficiency.

- Oversee annual review, update, and release of standard costs and inventory revaluations

- Provide financial leadership to cross-functional initiatives, ensuring fiscal discipline and alignment with corporate objectives.

- Mentor and develop the plant finance team, fostering a culture of ownership, integrity, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- CA or CMA qualifications are mandatory.

- 10-15 years of experience in a finance leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, costing, and financial reporting processes

- Hands-on experience with ERP and financial planning systems

COMPETENCIES:

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation

- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.

- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness in reporting.

- Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.

- High integrity, accountability, and commitment to organizational goals
