Role Overview:

As the Finance Manager within the Food Industry vertical, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth in the Navi Mumbai/Thane region. This role involves working closely with the operations team, senior management, and external stakeholders to optimize financial performance and maintain compliance. Your insights will directly impact decision-making and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

- Develop and maintain financial forecasts and budgets, providing variance analysis and recommendations to improve financial performance for the FMCG operations.

- Oversee cost accounting processes, including standard costing, inventory valuation, and cost analysis, to optimize profitability and efficiency.

- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, providing insights into key performance indicators and trends.

- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Utilize Zoho Books and Zoho Analytics to streamline financial processes, generate insightful reports, and improve data-driven decision-making.

- Lead and manage FMCG project management initiatives from a financial perspective, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, within the FMCG industry.

- Proven expertise in cost accounting principles and practices, with the ability to analyze and optimize costs to improve profitability.

- Proficient in using Zoho Books and Zoho Analytics for financial management and reporting.

- Strong understanding of FMCG operations and financial challenges specific to the food industry.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information to senior management.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA, MBA) is preferred.

- Adaptable to working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities effectively.
