Finance Manager Responsibilities : Financial Management : - Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. Fundraising : - Work with the founders on fundraising efforts including preparing financial projections, creating investor reports, and managing investor relations. Accounting : - Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Cost Management : - Analyze and manage costs to ensure capital efficiency. Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement. Risk Management : - Identify and manage financial risks. Ensure adequate controls are in place to safeguard company assets. Compliance : - Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other external parties as necessary. Cross-functional Collaboration : - Work closely with other departments to support business operations and drive financial performance. Qualifications : - Chartered Accountant with a bachelor's degree in business or commerce. - 5+ years of experience in finance, including experience at an early to mid-stage startup (D2C brand experience preferred). - Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. - Excellent understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles and financial controls.
