Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Manager Finance (Controllership) to lead financial reporting, controllership, taxation, compliance, and audit functions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial accounting, statutory reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, ensuring accurate financial records and adherence to accounting standards while driving process improvements across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

- Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with Ind AS and applicable accounting standards.

- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory regulations.

- Oversee direct and indirect tax filings and coordinate with external tax consultants.

- Lead statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.

- Prepare monthly MIS reports, management dashboards, and financial analysis for senior leadership.

- Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.

- Monitor working capital, cash flow, and treasury operations to optimize financial performance.

- Review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, fixed assets, provisions, accruals, and intercompany transactions.

- Ensure effective internal financial controls and compliance with corporate governance policies.

- Coordinate ROC, RBI, and other regulatory filings where applicable.

- Support ERP optimization, finance automation, and process improvement initiatives.

- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.

- Develop and implement financial policies, SOPs, and best practices.

- Mentor junior finance professionals and ensure timely completion of finance deliverables.

Required Skills:

- Strong expertise in Financial Controllership and Financial Reporting.

- Hands-on experience with Ind AS, accounting standards, and financial statement preparation.

- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Direct & Indirect Taxation.

- Experience in month-end and year-end closing processes.

- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

- Knowledge of statutory compliance, audit management, and regulatory reporting.

- Strong understanding of consolidation of accounts and financial analysis.

- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high levels of accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) is preferred.

- 4-7 years of experience in Finance, Controllership, Financial Reporting, or Accounting.

- Experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, Textile, FMCG, or similar industries is preferred.

- Exposure to Big 4 consulting or audit firms is an added advantage.

- Experience in finance transformation, ERP implementation, or process automation is desirable.
