
Role Overview:
The Finance Manager will serve as a pivotal leader within our Bangalore finance operations, overseeing the integrity of our financial data and the accuracy of our statutory disclosures. In this capacity, you will manage the end-to-end accounting lifecycle, ensuring that all reporting aligns with global standards while providing actionable insights to senior leadership. You will work closely with cross-functional department heads, external auditors, and the executive team to streamline financial workflows and drive fiscal discipline. By maintaining rigorous compliance and optimizing reporting structures, you will directly influence the companys strategic decision-making process and ensure long-term financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure timely and accurate reporting for stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain IFRS accounting standards across all business units to ensure global consistency and regulatory compliance.
- Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounts operations, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and tax filings to uphold organizational integrity.
- Partner with internal teams to analyze budget variances and operational costs, providing the leadership team with data-driven recommendations to improve profitability.
- Lead the coordination with external auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth audits and ensure all financial practices meet statutory requirements.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and the practical application of IFRS, with a proven ability to interpret complex accounting standards for business application.
- Strong proficiency in managing end-to-end finance and accounts functions, including deep knowledge of tax compliance and internal control frameworks.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, strategic narratives for non-finance stakeholders.
- A professional qualification such as CA or CPA is preferred, complemented by a track record of managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- High adaptability to a hybrid work culture in Bangalore, with the ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
