We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our banks finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing core financial functions including accounting, taxation, budgeting, expense management, reconciliations, and profit & loss analysis. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of financial regulations, and the ability to manage cross-functional financial operations efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Financial Reporting: - Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. - Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards. Taxation: - Ensure timely and accurate filing of direct and indirect tax returns. - Liaise with tax consultants and regulatory authorities for audits, assessments, and compliance. Budgeting & Forecasting: - Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises. - Monitor budget variances and provide actionable insights to management. Expense Management: - Implement and monitor cost control measures. - Analyze and report on departmental and operational expenses. Reconciliation: - Supervise bank, intercompany, and general ledger reconciliations. - Ensure timely resolution of discrepancies. Profit & Loss Analysis: - Conduct detailed P&L analysis to support strategic decision-making. - Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance. Compliance & Controls: - Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and regulatory requirements. - Support internal and external audits. Qualifications & Experience: - CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification. - 5-7 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services. - Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations. - Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). - Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
