Looking for a Qualified CA for a B2B e-commerce early-stage, VC funded startup. Location - Kolkata Leadership role to structure and head Finance. Direct Reporting to Founder. Responsibilities : - Preparing Financial Statements - Responsible for overall Accounts function and team handling including but not limited to maintaining books of accounts viz., journal, ledger, cash book etc. - Closing of accounts including preparation/checking of various ledgers & sub-ledgers; monitoring, checking & ensuring complete & correct accounting of all the transactions - Co-ordinating with Auditors and Consultants. - Co-ordinating with the Banks and other relevant stakeholders. - Timely deduction, payment, filing of returns for statutory liabilities/dues i.e. Income Tax, TDS, TCS, GST, PTax, PF etc. - Helping in the preparation of MIS reports and providing feedback to top management - Cash flow monitoring and optimal utilization of funds. - Responsible for Timely payments to and reconciliations with Vendors - Driving Commercial hygiene and cost efficiency. - Business Partnering with Sales team - Proper recording of collections, processing of claims/returns and driving commercial hygiene. - Ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2013 - Any ad-hoc reporting requirements. Required : - Chartered Accountant with minimum 3 years of experience - Articleship experience from reputed firm - Good knowledge in Tally as well as MS Office - Willingness to work in chaotic, fast paced environment of an early-stage startup - Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills; experience compiling data and financial information - High sense of ownership; candidate should be able to run things independently CTC : - Upto 12 LPA plus ESOPs - Urgent Requirement.
