About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Finance & Accounts to lead our finance department in a reputed garment manufacturing company.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire accounting function, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth.
- This role demands a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership capabilities and a solid understanding of financial management in manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit of Accounts:
- Oversee and coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of audit reports and compliance with audit
recommendations.
Accounts Payables & Receivables:
- Manage the entire accounts payable and receivable cycle to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Monitor vendor payments, credit control, and collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
Taxation:
- Handle direct and indirect tax matters including GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and authorities for assessments, filings, and audits.
Import Payments & Banking:
- Manage import-related payments and documentation in coordination with the procurement and logistics teams.
- Oversee day-to-day banking operations, cash flow management, and bank reconciliations.
Financial MIS Reporting:
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Provide detailed financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure
compliance with policies and regulations.
- Lead efforts to improve process efficiencies and financial governance.
Team Leadership:
- Manage, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
- Facilitate training and capacity building within the department.
Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with senior management for strategic financial planning and business initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- 3 to 6 years of progressive experience in finance and accounts, preferably in manufacturing or garment industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, audit processes, taxation laws (direct & indirect), and regulatory compliances.
- Proficiency in ERP accounting software (e. , SAP, Tally, Oracle) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
