Manager - Finance & Accounts - FMCG/Manufacturing - CA

Description:

We are currently retained by a leading FMCG company to hire a Manager- Finance and Accounts for them.

This is a corporate finance position (non-plant / non-factory) responsible for managing the financial hygiene, Accounts Payable, compliance, and accuracy of key accounting processes. The role requires close coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless book closure, adherence to internal controls, and effective treasury management.

Please note this role needs a CA (non-negotiable) with an experience into a Coporate role in FMCG/Manufacturing set up.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee Accounts Payable operations vendor invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, and clearing activities.

- Manage monthly and annual corporate book closing, review of schedules, and ensure timely reporting.

- Ensure balance sheet hygiene, control over open items, and compliance with audit recommendations.

- Support the Financial Controller in implementing financial policies, SOPs, and internal control frameworks (IFC).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process automation and simplification.

- Partner with internal and statutory auditors for timely completion of internal and external audits.

- Assist in Treasury and Banking operations including fund management, working capital monitoring, and regulatory submissions.

To fit the bill you must have:

- Strong experience in Accounts Payable and Corporate Accounting / Book Closing.

- Hands-on experience in SAP ERP (Finance modules).

- Sound understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and reporting.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

- Exposure to Audit (Internal / Statutory) and Treasury functions.

- Experience in Manufacturing or FMCG industries in a corporate role or head office finance setup.
