Financial Management & Reporting:
- Manage and oversee the entire accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards to support business decision-making.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Companies Act.
- Drive budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis across cost centers and departments.
- Coordinate and finalize quarterly and annual audits (statutory, internal, and tax audits).
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Supervise vendor payments, customer billing, and receivables management to maintain optimal working capital.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor ledgers, and intercompany transactions on a regular basis.
- Oversee credit control and collection processes, ensuring healthy cash flow and minimal bad debts.
Taxation & Compliance:
- Manage all aspects of direct and indirect taxation - including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC filings.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure full statutory compliance.
- Maintain documentation for assessments, audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Stay updated with evolving tax laws and accounting regulations to ensure proactive compliance.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Provide financial insights to management on profitability, cost control, and capital allocation.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to evaluate financial performance and drive efficiency.
- Conduct trend analysis, cash flow forecasting, and support management with scenario-based decision-making.
Process Improvement & Systems:
- Enhance existing financial systems, workflows, and reporting structures for better accuracy and efficiency.
- Support ERP implementation or migration (Tally / SAP / Oracle / NetSuite) to ensure smooth data integration.
- Introduce automation and digitization initiatives in accounting and reporting processes.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and audit standards.
Team Management & Coordination:
- Supervise and mentor junior accountants and finance executives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams - HR, Operations, Procurement, and Administration - for financial alignment.
- Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous learning within the finance function.
Technical Skills & Competencies:
- Strong command of Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Statutory Compliance
- Hands-on experience in Tally Prime / SAP / Oracle / NetSuite
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Query, and Financial Modelling Tools
- Working knowledge of GST filings, TDS returns, and Income Tax computations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills
- Understanding of ERP systems, internal controls, and audit procedures
- Attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory
- Experience: Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in corporate or multi-branch environments
- Exposure to audits, taxation, and compliance in both service and manufacturing industries will be an advantage
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, and manage concurrent projects efficiently
