Manager - Finance & Accounting

Role Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance & Accounting professional to lead financial accounting, reporting, compliance, audit management, and controllership activities for a global business environment. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, driving governance and compliance, supporting business stakeholders, and contributing to finance transformation initiatives.

Candidates must possess strong technical accounting expertise, prior experience in a manufacturing environment, and exposure to Big 4 firms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting timelines.

- Manage financial accounting, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet reviews.

- Drive financial reporting, consolidation, and management reporting activities.

- Lead accounting and reporting for complex financial instruments, including hedge accounting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies.

- Provide technical accounting guidance on IND AS, IFRS, and treasury-related transactions, including derivatives and hedging arrangements.

- Perform detailed P&L and variance analysis to support business decision-making.

- Ensure timely completion of balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of ageing/open items.

- Lead statutory audits, group audits, and interactions with external auditors.

- Monitor internal controls and ensure adherence to governance and compliance requirements.

- Support treasury operations, cash flow reporting, working capital monitoring, and liquidity management.

- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to meet reporting and operational requirements.

- Support finance transformation projects, process standardization, and automation initiatives.

- Drive continuous process improvements and operational excellence.

- Lead, coach, and develop finance team members.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed global environment.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Mandatory Requirements :

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 710 years of relevant experience.

- Prior experience working with a Big 4 firm (mandatory).

- Experience in a manufacturing organization (mandatory).

- Strong technical expertise in IND AS and IFRS.

- Hands-on experience in IFRS 15 (Revenue Recognition), IFRS 16 (Leases), IFRS 9 (Financial Instruments), and IAS 2 (Inventories) and Hedge Accounting.

- Strong experience in financial accounting, controllership, reporting, and audits.

- Hands-on experience with SAP and enterprise reporting systems.

- Experience working in a global or shared services environment.
