Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including managing budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and robust cash flow management.
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring they meet all relevant accounting standards.
- Develop, implement, and manage annual operating budgets, conducting thorough variance analysis to identify discrepancies and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure full compliance with all statutory laws, financial regulations, and tax requirements.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
- Analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management for improved financial performance and decision-making.
- Supervise, mentor, and support the professional development of the finance team members.
- Manage and nurture strong relationships with auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Proactively identify cost reduction opportunities and implement strategies to improve overall financial efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor and enhance internal controls, ensuring the implementation of appropriate financial policies and procedures across the organization.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is strongly preferred.
Experience: Proven experience of 5+ years in a financial management role, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle Financials; accounting software) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a track record of guiding and developing finance professionals.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
