Manager - Finance

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to manage key finance and accounting activities, including financial reporting, book closure, taxation, MIS, and ERP operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Ind AS, GST, TDS, and financial processes, along with experience working with external auditors. The role will involve close coordination with internal stakeholders and may require frequent travel to Delhi, Chennai, and Ahmedabad.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual book closure activities and ensure timely completion of closing requirements.

- Prepare and review MIS reports, financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.

- Ensure compliance with Ind AS and applicable accounting and financial reporting requirements.

- Oversee GST and TDS compliance, including calculations, filings, reconciliations, and resolution of related queries.

- Monitor accounting transactions and ensure proper documentation, reconciliations, and financial controls.

- Work closely with business and finance teams to analyse financial performance, variances, and key operational metrics.

- Manage and optimise the use of ERP systems for accounting, reporting, and finance operations.

- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and other external stakeholders and provide required information and documentation.

- Support audits, financial reviews, and resolution of audit observations in a timely manner.

- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

- Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, accounting procedures, and statutory requirements.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve finance and accounting issues and ensure smooth business operations.

- Travel frequently to Delhi, Chennai, and Ahmedabad as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting.

- Strong hands-on experience in Ind AS, MIS, financial reporting, and book closure.

- Good working knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.

- Experience working with ERP systems and finance/accounting applications.

- Experience in coordinating with Big 4 auditors is preferred.

- Strong understanding of accounting processes, reconciliations, financial controls, and statutory compliance.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with business and finance stakeholders.

- Willingness to undertake frequent travel to Delhi, Chennai, and Ahmedabad.
