Job Summary:

This role supports various financial analysis and forecasting activities at Regeneron, including participating in the preparation of budgets/forecasts, review and analysis of Actuals, regular and ad-hoc analysis and advice. The role works with the various Finance colleagues around the world to partner the Commercial, Medical Affairs and other functions across all geographies that Regeneron operates in. The analysis supports critical business decisions. Direct line management of this role sits within Finance, not Accounting; and this role does not record Actuals in the Accounting system.

Key responsibilities:

This role primarily supports the Commercialisation P&L for Regenerons international Hematology and Rare Diseases/Genetics businesses, i.e. markets outside the US, both for consolidated international view and for individual markets. Therapeutic area focus may be expanded or varied over time depending on needs of the business.

- Line manage other finance employees as appropriate

- Participate in putting together quarterly Product P&Ls for consolidated international, i.e. all markets outside the US, for relevant products in these therapeutic areas.

- Maintain Product/Brand P&L models

- For various markets, working with Country Finance Directors as appropriate:

1. Maintain a revenue tracker for products for all markets, for units, local currency and US$

2. Maintain tracker/dashboard of opex expenditure for each of a number of functions on the Product P&L

- Prepare materials for monthly performance reviews

- Prepare a monthly sales report for leadership

- Determine monthly accruals/prepayments and communicate to Accounting for posting

- Support monthly/quarterly Gross-to-Net analysis as required for various markets

- Create constant currency analysis

- Support Financial analysis for country claw-backs, claw-forwards, rebates, pharma fees, etc.

- Support financial analysis for tender offers and/or price/volume agreements

- Prepare FTE rate calculations

- Analyse HCP spend for regulatory purposes

- Load data into the budget/forecast system as required

- Co-ordinate quarterly revenue landing

- Other ad-hoc requests and analysis as required

Education & Experience:

- Relevant undergraduate degree, and relevant professional finance-related qualifications (e.g. ACA, CMA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc.) and/or post-graduate (such as MBA)

- Key skills: Ability to deal with ambiguity, proactive and persistent, ability to look at issues from different perspectives

- Languages: Fluent in English, and additional language(s) spoken in India as appropriate

- Minimum of 7 years of progressive, relevant finance-related work experience. This equates to a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience if a 3-year training period was completed for finance/accounting qualifications.

- Experience in biotech/pharma industry and/or Shared Service Centre environment is a plus
