Description:
Role Objective:
The Finance Business Partner is a critical role responsible for enabling the business to make strategic decisions to drive performance across products and services. This role involves partnering with various business units to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and drive value creation.
Professional Know-how:
Academic: CA /CMA / ACCA / CIMA
Experience: 8-10 years experience in analysis, accounting & management reporting role
Working Relationships:
Internal: Business Stakeholders
Senior management team
Global function team External: End Client (wherever required)

Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance Director in all financial matters, including month end close and reporting, business plan, forecast and other ad hoc requests.
- Business Partnering: Act as a trusted point of contact for business leaders, providing commercial and financial decision support, and challenging business profitability to drive future performance.
- Support the creation and tracking of investment business cases, track cost savings and develop and maintain the service based recoveries.
- Support 3rd party contract renewals / negotiations
- Ensuring we are only procuring what is required.
- Supporting the contract negotiations with Hyper scalers like Microsoft Azure, AWS with accurate data, financial projections, and bringing challenge and opportunities to enhance position.
- Providing monthly and as required analysis of performance against commitments, assessing and articulating risk and opportunities.
- Ensure suitable hedging is in place to remain compliant with group hedging policy.
- Liaise with divisional teams to validate and agree forecasts and interlocks.
Reporting and Presentations: Produce clear and concise presentations such as QPR, BP packs, waterfalls, and dashboards.
Financial Planning and Analysis: Support the Head of FP&A with financial planning, analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain financial models, tools, and systems to support the FP&A function and enhance data quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
Performance Improvement: Partner with divisional finance teams and operational managers to provide financial support, guidance, and challenge to drive performance improvement and value creation.
Compliance and Best Practices: Contribute to the continuous improvement of FP&A processes, policies, and best practices, ensuring compliance with group standards and requirements.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across the division and the group.
- Ability to provide analytical insight to help identify opportunities to drive change and improve efficiency.
- Accuracy in reporting and adherence to deadlines
- Understanding of the customer landscape and drivers to provide contract/service pricing, cash, and margin optimisation recommendations.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (XLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF, text manipulation, data validation, etc.) and MS Office applications
Desirable:
- Experience of working with service sector organisations
- Experience in SAP
- Knowledge & working experience of other tools
