Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Control

- Assist in preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.

- Maintain strong internal controls and support continuous improvement of financial processes.

Costing & Manufacturing Finance

- Oversee product costing, standard costing, variance analysis, and margin analysis.

- Monitor BOM, inventory valuation, WIP, and overhead absorption.

- Work closely with plant and operations teams for reporting accuracy.

Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS

- Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.

- Prepare and analyze MIS reports for management, highlighting key financial and operational metrics.

- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Audit, Compliance & Taxation

- Coordinate internal and statutory audits; address audit queries and ensure timely closure.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, income tax, and other local regulations.

- Assist in tax planning and timely filing of returns in coordination with tax consultants.

Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

- Monitor working capital components including receivables, payables, and inventory.

- Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.

- Ensure adherence to credit policies and optimize cash cycles.

Systems & Process Improvement

- Support implementation and enhancement of SAP.

- Identify opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and cost reduction.

- Ensure data integrity and effective use of financial systems.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, supply chain, and sales.

- Act as a key liaison with auditors, bankers, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Reports to: CFO - India

Qualification:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) and / or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) mandatory

- Strong exposure to plant finance, cost accounting, and financial controls.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred). Experience(Yrs.& industry): Minimum 7+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
