Manager - Factory Finance - FMCG - East/West

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Finance professional to join our leading MNC FMCG organization as a Factory Finance Manager. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the financial conscience of our manufacturing operations, overseeing all site-level accounting, cost management, and budgetary controls. You will work closely with Plant Heads, supply chain teams, and regional finance leadership to drive operational efficiency and ensure strict adherence to financial governance. By providing actionable insights into production costs and capital expenditure, you will directly influence the profitability of our manufacturing footprint and support our long-term growth strategy across multiple locations in India.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the end-to-end factory accounting process to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with corporate policies.

- Lead the annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecast processes for the plant to align operational spending with organizational financial targets.

- Analyze manufacturing variances and cost structures to identify opportunities for cost optimization and margin improvement.

- Oversee internal controls and audit requirements to mitigate financial risks and ensure the integrity of factory assets.

- Partner with cross-functional plant leadership to provide data-driven decision support for capital investments and process improvements.

- Monitor inventory valuation and production overheads to ensure precise product costing and accurate valuation of finished goods.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in industrial costing, variance analysis, and budgetary control within a high-volume manufacturing or FMCG environment.

- Strong proficiency in financial accounting standards and statutory compliance, with the ability to navigate complex ERP systems effectively.

- Proven ability to communicate financial complexities to non-finance stakeholders, fostering a culture of fiscal responsibility across the plant floor.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on delivering precise, high-quality financial data under tight deadlines.

- A professional qualification such as CA, ICWA, or an MBA in Finance from a reputed institute, reflecting a strong academic and technical foundation.

- High degree of adaptability and willingness to operate in a dynamic, on-site manufacturing environment, with the flexibility to manage operations across multiple regional locations as required.
