Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Manager - EV Charging Infrastructure to lead planning, design, implementation, and commissioning of EV charging projects. The role will focus on delivering scalable charging infrastructure solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance, stakeholder coordination, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects.

- Conduct site assessments, electrical feasibility studies, load calculations, and layout planning.

- Manage project timelines, budgets, contracts, and resource allocation.

- Coordinate with DISCOMs, government bodies, regulatory authorities, and internal engineering teams.

- Oversee procurement, vendor onboarding, and supplier performance management.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and EV charging guidelines.

- Monitor installation, commissioning, and operational readiness of charging sites.

- Optimize infrastructure capacity, uptime, workflow, and maintenance schedules.

- Drive technology adoption, energy efficiency, and integration with smart grid systems.

- Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, and technology partners.

- Prepare project reports, dashboards, and MIS for leadership and stakeholders.

- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skillsets:

- Strong expertise in EV charging infrastructure, electrical design, site execution, and commissioning.

- In-depth knowledge of EV charging standards, government policies, DISCOM processes, and regulatory norms.

- Proven project management skills with experience managing multi-location infrastructure rollouts.

- Excellent vendor and stakeholder management capabilities.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving approach with technical reporting ability.

- Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and electrical design software.

- Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Hands-on understanding of renewable energy systems, solar integration, and grid interface (preferred).

Qualifications:

- MBA and Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.

- 8-15 years of experience in EV charging, electrical infrastructure, renewable energy, or power distribution projects.

- Experience working with government agencies, EPC firms, and large industrial clients is preferred.
